Hey guys, we have big news for y’all!
Light Fall will launch its Steam Greenlight campaign on February 27 (Friday). Obviously, this is another big step for us as being accepted on the Steam platform greatly increases the chances of success of the game.
As most of you know, the Greenlight process allows people to get their game on the Steam Store without the need to rely on a publisher. To do so, a game must earn enough positive votes to get ‘Greenlit’ by Steam. Basically, the players decide the games that make it to the Store and these that do not.
We need YOU and your support
If you have been following the project for a while now and if you like the game, this will be a great opportunity to show your support for Light Fall and give us some love! On Friday, please take a few minutes out of your time to log on Steam and vote YES on our campaign page (we will provide the link on Friday).
Social media are also very powerful tools. If you want to spread the word out, feel free to do so! We recently set up a Nouncy campaign, which is a new tool that allows people to schedule Facebook posts or Tweets about a specified topic (in this case our Greenlight campaign). Then, the admins of the campaign (us), can release and publish all these scheduled posts at once.
